Because I hadn't done my research, I ended up getting ripped off 😮‍💨

At the wedding dress exhibition, they said, "You arrived very early and were our first customers, so we can give you a 'discounted price'..." Turns out, their "discounted price" didn't include many things!! (It still cost $14,000!)

Then, on the fitting day, only the older styles were free. The newer, nicer ones cost an extra $500-$3,000 per dress. When I asked if I needed to bring a belt to the photos with my suit, they said no because it would reflect light.

When we went abroad for the photoshoot, the assistant checked the wedding dresses for problems. And when they did, they found out... the dresses had many holes/rips!! (Even the extra-cost dresses had problems!!). The assistant took photos as proof that we hadn't damaged them!! Later, the photographer asked if I had a belt, and I said, "The staff in Hong Kong said it would reflect light, so I don't need to bring a belt to the photoshoot."...

(Don't ask me why they didn't check when I picked up the wedding dress; it's because they (in Hong Kong) just opened the bag for the photoshoot, then quickly put it back in the bag, zipped it up, and told me to pay the deposit before leaving without even opening the door for me.)

Then, on the day to choose the photos, they didn't say anything during the first selection. But after you've chosen the first set, they'll keep trying to sell you more photos, saying that if you don't add more, the photo album won't look good!! (The most expensive option was an extra HK$13,000, which included 60 additional photos and all the other photos in the file.) Even if you didn't want extra photos, they kept trying to sell them to you… In the end, you had to buy the cheapest option (which only included 10 more photos in the original file, but cost an extra HK$5,000).

The total cost was HK$25,000.

(The HK$5,000 was for miscellaneous expenses such as car rental, entrance fee, and parking fee)… The remaining HK$20,000 was for the wedding dress (I added HK$1,000 to choose a nicer dress; the original plan was HK$14,000, but they sold it for HK$5,000).

In the end, you got a photo album with 60 photos, 60 original digital photos, and a photo frame.

Annie, Michelle and KY are super super amazing and we had so much fun with them!

I trip and fell at the star ferry and the team took such good care of me the whole day!
