Hotel ICON Silverbox Ballroom

Decent ballroom, with comfortable temperature, lots of space, nice dance floor, perfect for hosting grand occasions. The on site catering is ok, lambchops were soft enough and the sauce created flavour. Don’t get the bbq pork ribs though, they were dry and tasteless but apart from that good.

Spacious setting with a huge LCD backdrop, nicely decorated.

It was an award show. The ballroom was so packed for a big event of 300+ people. I had a 4 course dinner. The sea bass and lobster soup were good.

Attended functions at the Silverbox for quite a few events.
One of the events was “OpenRice's Best Restaurant Awards 2014” held on 7th May 2014 at Hotel Icon Hong Kong to honor the most outstanding and popular selected restaurants over the past year.

It aims to recognize the outstanding performance of the best selected restaurants across different areas including their cuisine selection, gourmet quality, customer service and brand promotion.
At the event, there was a good selection of snacks, my favourite was the chocolate covered cherries in wine.

Excellent food and service. Very well organized event.
